Amped Wireless gives your WiFi 1.5-mile range: never lose signal in the garden again -- Engadget:

i don't know why i'm interested in this, considering i already have my MiFi devices c/o my Android phone. But then again, my imagination is running wild, like I can use it in the province where cellular data signal is choppy. With this, I can just leave the MiFi at home where it has a stable signal and just broadcast the signal around the house.
