Another Cellphone Virus!

There's a new guy in town and his name is Lasco.a This is the name of the new cellphone virus that attacks any mobile phone that uses the Symbian OS (i.e. Nokia 7610, 6600, 6260, communicator line 9210, 9300, 9500, UIQ phones such as the SE P800/900/910).

Like the previous "worms" (Cabir & Skull), this one propagates to other Symbian Phones using Bluetooth. But unlike Cabir & Skull, it adds a new way of spreading, by attaching itself to files. Thus, if can be spread 2 ways and will therefore be a bit dangerous that the usual suspects.

So again, turning the Bluetooth function of your phone not only will save your phone's power, it will also save it's operating system.
