I am an advocate of technology and of consistent connection. The USB Broadband modem has made it easy for people like me to be independent of WiFi access in coffee shops that charge exuberant fees. Now these things come out...how connected can one get...just plug in a SIM card from any telco and you will have your own wireless access to the internet. Perhaps a little more patience before getting one, since these things are still way too expensive.
